A tool built around one specific thing you keep doing. This covers most of what people come to me with.
If the task has several moving parts or is harder to pin down, I'll take a look first and give you a clear cost before starting anything.
If the tool doesn't do what was agreed, I'll sort it at no extra cost. This covers it not working as discussed — not new things you'd like added after the fact, which are just quoted separately.
The tool keeps working. If something needs adjusting later — a file format changes, you want a small tweak, or something stops working after an update — that can all be sorted at a fixed cost agreed before anything is touched. You only pay if you ask for something.
